A well-known and reputable client of ours is in need of a Payroll Clerk to assist their payroll department! This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an industry leader in a very engaging field of work!

•Build strong relationships with employees, leadership and HR colleagues, and develop a solid understanding of the business in order to provide proactive support.
•Oversee and handles all timekeeping activities in accordance with Company policy, state and federal employment laws and other regulatory agencies.
•Works closely with supervision and our payroll manager to ensure accurate timekeeping is provided for payroll processing consistently within deadlines.
•Log employee call-ins.
•Make appropriate personnel aware of employees with no time.
•Run appropriate reporting for various departments.
•Enroll new employees in time clock system and train on timekeeping software.
•Process payroll bi-weekly.
•Resolve employee questions, concerns and complaints in a way that fosters a high level of employee morale, loyalty and motivation.
•Trains new employees on our time keeping system (Ultipro) and enrolls them on timeclocks.
•Train leadership on properly managing their employee’s time.
•Manage vacation/sick entries
•Manage on-call pay for infrastructure departments.
•Support other finance activities in a dynamic and ever changing environment, finding adaptive and creative solutions while effectively managing competing demands.

•At least three years of timekeeping/payroll experience required.
•Preferred experience with Ultipro/Oracle.
•Strong skills with the Microsoft Office Suite.
•Strong knowledge of the human resource field including payroll and California legal compliance.
•Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize activities.
•Disciplined self-starter with can-do attitude; proactive, resourceful, and detail-oriented with strong follow-through skills.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills that demonstrate a proven ability to develop relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, both in-person and virtually.
•Strong work ethic, sense of urgency, consistent sense of integrity and strident on privacy issues.
•Preferably have a BS/BA with 3+ years in finance/payroll.
•Must be a “U.S. person” as defined by the ITAR (22 CFR §120.15).
