Administrative Assistant/Event Coordinator Job Posting

A well-known and reputable company in the Santa Clarita Valley area is seeking an Admin Assistant to join their team! This business has built networks with hundreds of other business out here in the valley.

Seeking a detail-oriented individual who is adaptable and flexible. The ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support, is essential in this position. This opportunity has the possibility to from temporary to full time depending on the right candidate.

This admin assistant must have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Seeking a candidate who has exceptional writing skills for emails and letters being sent out to companies and vendors. Having a Public Relations background is a huge plus.

What you need:

  • Manage work flow by assigning task to other admins, ensuring that deadlines are met
  • Assist in training staff members and new hires
  • Generate memos, emails and reports when appropriate
  • Respond to questions and requests for information
  • Answer incoming calls and assume other receptionist duties when needed

Compensation: $16/Hour

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am - 3pm

Location: Santa Clarita, CA

  • Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast=paced office environment
  • Track event key performance areas and identify items to work on for future events
