A small, but reputable firm in the San Fernando Valley is seeking a Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join their team! This firm continues to service various business throughout Southern California.

Seeking a sharp, detail-oriented individual who is adaptable and flexible. The ability to multi-task, while assisting with various tax-related documents, bookkeeping, and providing administrative support is essential in this position.

This candidate must have superb communication and interpersonal skills as they will be speaking and working with various clients. Seeking a candidate who has experience support administrators or higher-level executives and experience dealing with bookkeeping.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with tax returns, payroll returns, sales tax returns, and processing client books
  • Assisting with the firm’s bookkeeping (recording cash receipts, paying bills, inputting invoices, client billing)
  • Various miscellaneous tasks such as filing, answering phones, scanning, making labels/spreadsheets

Compensation: $16-$19/Hour (Depending on Experience)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am - 5pm

Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects/meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Windows Operating Systems and MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Detail oriented and able to work well under pressure
