Administrative Marketing Assistant
Job Description
A print and digital marketing company located in Santa Clarita, CA is looking for a full-time, temp-to-hire Administrative Marketing Assistant to join their team. In this role, the Administrative Marketing Assistant will assist management and all visitors by handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, and e-mail, making reservations or travel arrangements, and generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace.
Administrative Assistants must be comfortable with computers, general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication. Candidates should be professional, polite, and attentive while also being accurate. They should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly. Most importantly, Administrative Marketing Assistants should have a genuine desire to meet the needs of others. This position has the ability for upward mobility into a Marketing Coordinator position.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handling office tasks, such as filing, generating reports and presentations, setting up for meetings, and reordering supplies.
- Providing real-time scheduling support by booking appointments and preventing conflicts.
- Coordinate production reports.
- Assist executives with additional tasks and reports.
- Billing, A/R and A/P.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving.
- Screening phone calls and routing callers to the appropriate party.
- Using computers to generate reports, transcribe minutes from meetings, create presentations, and conduct research.
- Greet and assist visitors.
- Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
- Post social media to various accounts and manage accounts
- Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.
Qualification Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree strongly preferred.
- Prior administrative experience.
- Excellent computer skills, especially typing.
- Multilingual may be preferred or required.
- Marketing background preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Must be pleasant to work with
Pay Range: 20.00/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
Hours: 8:00AM – 5:00PM
