Customer Service Representative
Job Description
A regional water wholesaler and retailer located in the Santa Clarita Valley area is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join their team! This company prides itself in their commitment to detail and customer service.
Customer Service Reps are the first line of contact customers have with a business which goes without saying, that this candidate should be dedicated and reliable. Seeking a candidate who has a minimum of (1-2 years) prior experience in a customer service role. This CSR will contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
This CSR will be responsible for collecting past due accounts; notifying and scheduling termination of unpaid accounts and maintaining an accurate and current accounting of all field work in the agency’s system. Will process customer payments; check for accuracy of meter reads, prepare daily edits and weekly billing and adjustments as needed.
What you need:
- Principles, practices, methods, and techniques, used to provide and maintain a satisfactory level of customer service
- Basic accounting principles
- Computers and applicable software applications
- English usage, grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Modern office methods, procedures, and equipment
License or Certificate:
Possession of a valid California driver’s license may be required at the time of appointment. Individuals who do not meet this requirement due to a physical disability will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Compensation is $31.26/hour
Hours: Monday – Friday 730am-6pm (9/80)
Location: Valencia, CA
