Job Title: Part-Time High-Level Accounting Admin

Location: Santa Clarita

Type: Direct Hire, Part-Time

Hours: Flexible, approximately 3-5 days per week, 6-8 hours per day

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, high-level accountant to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. This role offers the unique opportunity to manage and oversee financial operations for a multifaceted business portfolio in the absence of the business owner. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a track record of excellence in financial management, investment handling, and multi-business coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Handle all financial transactions excluding tax preparation. This includes reviewing and processing all financial transactions across multiple entities.
  • Investment Oversight: Manage and monitor investment portfolios, ensuring alignment with business goals and market conditions.
  • Reporting: Compile and present monthly financial reports to provide clear insights into the performance of the investment portfolio and business operations.
  • Payroll: Manually manage payroll processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and timely disbursement.
  • Business Coordination: Act as a central point for coordinating financial activities with various business units, ensuring seamless operation and strategic alignment.
  • Advisory Role: Provide strategic financial advice to the business owner, leveraging your expertise to enhance business decisions.
  • Miscellaneous Duties: Manage aspects related to family travel arrangements and handle specific operational tasks related to a personal boat, including financial and logistical management.

Requirements:
  • CPA certification is highly preferred.
  • Significant experience in high-level financial management, ideally in a multi-business environment.
  • Proficient with QuickBooks and other financial software.
  • Strong background in investment management and financial planning.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Internet-savvy and resourceful, able to navigate and utilize online tools effectively for business operations.
  • Demonstrated integrity, loyalty, and honesty.
  • Ability to work independently, showing initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders internally and externally.
