Payroll/Accounting Clerk

Job Description

Are you an accounting professional looking for their next move? An accounting and tax firm in Santa Clarita is looking for an experienced Accounting/Payroll Clerk to join their team.

To be successful in this role, you must work extremely well under tight deadlines and pressure. Job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Processing payroll
  • Payroll tax payment on behalf of clients
  • Bookkeeping data entry
  • Entering payroll in QuickBooks
  • Customer service

Compensation: $18-$20/Hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm (1 hour lunch)

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with processing payroll
  • At least 2 years of working QuickBooks knowledge and experience
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
