Job Description

Our client is seeking a warm, friendly, detail-oriented, and organized Receptionist/Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for our Front Desk Reception Area providing a Warm Welcome to all Members/guests in addition to handling various administrative tasks and providing exceptional customer service in a beautiful private country club setting.

Job Summary: Responsible for answering all in-coming phone calls, greeting Members and guests, providing information, and performing general clerical duties.


Duties include but are not limited to:


• Greet Members and guests providing them with Club information, as requested; anticipates Member’s needs.
• Answer incoming phone calls, e-mails and all other forms of communication relating to duties of the job and the Club.
• Composes routine correspondence including but not limited to e-mails, Club announcements, Member newsletters, Week at a Glance, and reports. Establishes and creates materials for all aspects of the Club.
• Assists other Club departments with administrative tasks, as needed.
• Takes reservations for Club and Special Events.
• Maintains supply of Club information for Members.
• Oversees and performs other duties and special projects as assigned by the Membership Director, Director of Events & Communication, and General Manager.
• Performs other clerical duties (copying, assembling, distributing, etc.)
• Responsible for signage of room locations for Special and Club Events.
• Creates and revises new menus, specials, and wine list, as directed.
• Assist in creating Club Event Advertisements.
• Assist in updating and maintaining the Club website.
• Assists with Club events as needed.
• Responsible for supporting, communicating, and adhering to the company’s mission, brand, and core values.
• Maintains supply inventories for Reception and Administrative Office areas.

 

Job Requirements

Job Type: Full-time


Pay: Hourly


Salary: $26-$28


Qualifications:
• Warm and friendly demeanor.
• Comfortable in a professional office environment.
• Ability to multitask.
• Works well with minimum supervision.
• Detail-orientated with good organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum two (2) years customer service experience (prior experience in Hotel Hospitality and/or Front Desk preferred).
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word, and Excel; ability to learn new software programs. Canva experience a plus.
