Job Description

An landscaping company in Valencia is seeking a temp to hire Receptionist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and excellent communication.

In this role, the Receptionist will support the company by greeting and directing guests, answering, and routing phone calls, and performing in and out mail functions. Supports Accounting and Human Resource departments in clerical tasks.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer and route incoming phone calls.
  • Greet visitors at office entrance.
  • Maintain visitor log.
  • Open and distribute mail.
  • Reserves conference rooms.
  • Orders and maintains office supplies.
  • Send, receive, and distribute faxes.
  • Assist with accounts receivable and payables.
  • Maintain commission log.
  • Mail accounts payable checks.
  • Mail accounts receivable invoices.
  • Scan all accounts payable invoices.
  • Support accounting department as needed.
  • Assist Human Resources with projects as needed.
  • Other tasks and duties may be required as directed.

Job Requirements

Qualification Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college level course work preferred
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Knowledge of Accounting Software
  • Basic windows/internet browser
  • ERP/Inventory
  • Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Strong knowledge of administrative procedures.


Compensation: $16 – $18/hour, depending on experience.

Schedule: Tuesday – Friday

Hours: 8:00AM-5:00PM
